How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan?
When Can You Change Your Plan?
You can upgrade to a higher-tier plan or downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time, based on your research needs. Both changes are made from the Subscription tab in Settings.
How Do You Change Your Plan?
Click the Change Plan button in the Subscription tab and select the plan you want.
- Click the profile icon in the top right and select Settings.
- Navigate to the Subscription tab on the Settings page.
- Click Change Plan to open the plan picker.
- Choose your target plan and billing cycle, then review and confirm on the payment page.
When Does the Upgrade Take Effect?
Upgrades take effect immediately after payment is completed. The price difference for the remaining billing cycle is prorated and deducted from the new plan cost, and the exact amount charged is shown on the payment page before you confirm.
When Does the Downgrade Take Effect?
Downgrades take effect on your next billing date, and you can keep using your current plan until then. No charge is made when you schedule the downgrade — the new plan price is billed on the next billing date.
Can You Cancel a Scheduled Downgrade?
Yes. Before the next billing date arrives, you can revert the scheduled change using the Cancel Downgrade button in the Subscription tab. After cancellation your current plan continues and auto-renews on the next billing date as usual.
