SJR Q1

What the numbers say

Output has grown while citedness rose slightly more than concentration at the top.

Annual output went from 592 to 703 papers. Expect a busier publication pipeline and possibly longer scheduling waits. Field-weighted citation impact moved from 2.95 to 3.62. Papers here tend to attract somewhat stronger citation attention than typical in the field. Airway Management and Intubation Techniques rose from 7.0% to 11.9% of what the journal runs. If your manuscript focuses on airway techniques it aligns with a growing editorial emphasis. Authors from CN went from 8.1% to 14.8%. Submissions from China are an increasingly prominent part of the authorship mix.
