Is my uploaded material used to train AI?

No. Manuscripts, uploaded files, search queries, and AI-generated output are never used for training. Nubint does not train its own models, and sends data to external AI vendors only under terms that prohibit training.

Where is my data stored, and for how long?

Encrypted, on Google Cloud and MongoDB Atlas in the United States. Retention periods are set item by item in our privacy policy, and when you close your account, documents, chats, and uploaded files are destroyed within 30 days.

Who owns what I write?

You do. Content you create through the Service belongs to you. We use it only as needed to provide and maintain the Service, and never to train AI models.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Account details are deleted immediately. Documents, chats, library items, and uploaded files are destroyed beyond recovery within 30 days of your withdrawal.

A minimal access surface

Access to production data is limited to one person, our Data Protection Officer. Account passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never stored in our database.

How we use AI, in the open

Nubint does not use your content to train AI models.

Data goes to external AI vendors only under terms that prohibit its use for training their models.
We do not fine-tune models on your content, and we do not collect data for that purpose.
This applies equally on every plan, free or paid.

Nubint does not hold a third-party security certification. What follows is the law we comply with, and how.

PIPA compliant

We publish a privacy policy and have appointed a Data Protection Officer under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. Every cross-border transfer is listed in that policy.

Prior cookie consent

Visitors from the EEA and the UK are asked for consent before any analytics cookie is set, and can change that choice at any time.
