Professor Sam-hyun Lee's research focuses on experimental particle physics and high-energy nuclear physics, with a primary emphasis on the study of quark-gluon plasma (QGP) formed in heavy-ion collisions and the properties of charmonium and open charm states in hadronic decays. His work spans experiments at major accelerators such as KEKB, RHIC, and the LHC, where he investigates phenomena including particle production, flow anisotropies, strangeness enhancement, and jet quenching. Acoustic Resonant States on the Interface between Density-negative and Modulus-negative Metamaterial

We observed resonant states on the interface between the acoustic metamaterials of negative effective mass density and negative effective modulus, which were based on membranes and side holes, respectively. All resonances excited by placing the driving pressure at different places have the same spatial pressure distribution and resonance frequency.
