About the Lab
Professor A-ra Cho's research lab focuses on innate immunity, host-pathogen interactions, and the pathogenesis of inflammatory and respiratory diseases. The lab investigates neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in airway diseases, the role of commensal bacteria in modulating antiviral immunity, and the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in *Staphylococcus aureus*. Additionally, the lab explores the toxicological impacts of environmental endocrine disruptors like BPA and phthalates on reproductive health, as well as the molecular pathways underlying drug-induced toxicity and chemotherapeutic efficacy.

AIMS: Doxorubicin (DOX) is a chemotherapeutic drug that is used to treat many cancers, but its use is limited by cardiotoxic side effect. Carbonyl reductase 1 (CBR1) is an NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase that reduces DOX to doxorubicinol (DOXOL), a less potent derivative that is responsible for DOX cardiotoxicity. 연구목적: 본 연구는 초등학교 통합학급 교사와 특수교사의 협력을 기반으로 한 협력적 체크리스트를 개발하여 지체장애 학생의 통합을 지원하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 선행문헌 검토를 통해 예비문항을 개발하고, 2차의 전문가 검토과정을 통한 피드백을 반영하여 최종문항을 구성하였다. 연구결과: 그 결과 기초정보, 통합학급 적응 기간 체크리스트, 영역별 체크리스트 3개의 영역, 총 96문항이 개발되었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 초등학교 환경을 기준으로 개발되었기 때문에 전 연령의 개별적인 지원요구를 반영하기엔 한계가 있으며, 이에 후속 연구를 통해 다양한 연령의 지체장애 학습자의 통합교육을 위한 협력 방안이 고민되어야 할 것이다.
