Professor Dong Hoon Choi's research lab focuses on translational biomedical engineering and regenerative medicine, with a strong emphasis on developing innovative biomaterials and cell-based therapies for cardiovascular and soft tissue repair. The lab investigates therapeutic strategies involving stem cell transplantation, growth factor delivery, and bioactive hydrogels to enhance tissue regeneration and prevent disease progression in conditions such as coronary restenosis, myocardial infarction, and periodontal disease.
