Simultaneous rescue and sutureless intrascleral haptic fixation of dislocated 3-piece IOLs using bimanual maneuvers is an effective, safe, and minimally invasive surgical method to rescue and fixate the dislocated IOL without further explant.
Both 23-G and 25-G MIVS yielded comparable visual outcomes for surgical treatment of idiopathic epiretinal membrane in pseudophakic eyes. The 25-G MIVS was associated with faster visual recovery and less postoperative hypotony than 23-G surgery.

Purpose: To investigate identifiable peripheral retinal lesions in patients with myopia or high myopia and to evaluate the usefulness of ultra-widefield scanning laser ophthalmoscope in retina clinic settings. Methods: We evaluated fundus images of 149 patients acquired using an ultra-widefield scanning laser ophthalmoscope.
Most posterior scleritis patients were of non-infectious type and some needed additional immunosuppressive treatment. In patients with a history of ocular surgery or trauma, especially with the presence of pus-containing nodules, infectious posterior scleritis should always be considered. Since impaired vision does not improve significantly after treatment of posterior scleritis, prompt diagnosis and aggressive treatment are recommended.
