About the Lab
Professor Hee Seon Jang's research lab specializes in energy and environmental economics, with a focus on market design, renewable energy integration, and natural resource management. The lab investigates the economic impacts of energy pricing mechanisms, such as time-of-use tariffs and renewable energy transmission projects, while also analyzing land use and conservation programs in agriculture. We estimate production technologies of major dairy producing regions in the U.S. The simultaneity and sample selection biases are carefully corrected following the recent development in the literature.
