About the Lab
Professor Huiwon Yoo's research lab specializes in pulmonary and neuromuscular rehabilitation, with a focus on respiratory function assessment and noninvasive ventilation in patients with neuromuscular diseases, burns, and post-stroke cognitive impairment. The lab investigates the efficacy of noninvasive interventions such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), mechanical insufflation-exsufflation (MI-E), and cardiopulmonary exercise testing for optimizing respiratory and cognitive outcomes.
