About the Lab
Professor Hye-Won Jeong's research lab focuses on understanding the immunological and virological mechanisms underlying infectious diseases, particularly SARS-CoV-2 infection and its long-term immune responses. The lab investigates host immune responses in COVID-19 patients using single-cell genomics and ex vivo functional assays, with an emphasis on T cell memory, inflammation, and viral persistence. Additionally, the lab explores public health policy impacts on disease transmission and contributes to global health research on adolescent pregnancy in low- and middle-income countries. Their work bridges basic immunology, clinical virology, and population health.

In conclusion, this study showed similar systemic exposure between the two Theracurmin products. The absorption of curcumin after the administration of Theracurmin was significantly enhanced compared with curcumin powder.
OBJECTIVE: The identification of cancer stem-like cells is a recent development in ovarian cancer. Compared to other cancer cells, cancer stem-like cells present more chemo-resistance and more aggressive characteristics. They play an important role in the recurrence and drug resistance of cancer. SYP-1018 had comparable pharmacokinetic and tolerability profiles to Vfend(®) after a single intravenous infusion.
