About the Lab
Professor Hyeeyun Park's research lab focuses on chronic respiratory diseases, particularly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), with an emphasis on identifying biomarkers for early detection and disease progression, understanding the impact of comorbidities across diverse populations, and exploring the links between COPD and other conditions such as lung cancer and postoperative complications. The lab integrates large-scale population-based cohort studies with clinical and physiological data to uncover risk factors and develop predictive models for patient outcomes.
