About the Lab
Professor Hyeon-A Hwang's research lab focuses on health policy and public health interventions, with a strong emphasis on emergency medical care, poisoning management, and the socio-medical impacts of public health policies. The lab conducts systematic reviews and observational studies to evaluate healthcare outcomes, including the effectiveness of poison control centers and predictors of poor outcomes in critical conditions such as out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.
