Professor Hyoseok Nam's research lab focuses on translational stroke research, with a strong emphasis on improving post-stroke outcomes through advanced data-driven modeling and regenerative therapies. The lab investigates biomarkers such as trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO) to enhance cardiovascular risk prediction and explores the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in promoting neurovascular repair after ischemic stroke.
