About the Lab
Professor Hyuk Sun Choi's research lab specializes in advancing minimally invasive endoscopic technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. The lab focuses on developing innovative endoscopic devices and imaging systems, such as optical-resolution photoacoustic tomography and thermosensitive injectable materials for endoscopic submucosal dissection. Key research directions include improving therapeutic endoscopy through novel endoscopic instruments, smart biomaterials for submucosal injection, and molecular biology approaches to understand and enhance endoscopic interventions.
