Professor Hyunggeon Lee's research lab focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying angiogenesis and ocular surface pathophysiology, with a particular emphasis on signaling pathways involving pseudokinases like PTK7 and growth factors such as VEGF-A and IGF-1. The lab investigates protein interactions in vascular and ocular epithelial cells, utilizing advanced techniques like surface plasmon resonance, mass spectrometry-based proteomics, and in vivo/in vitro models to elucidate disease mechanisms in conditions such as dry eye disease and corneal disorders. Additional research explores therapeutic interventions, including topical TNF-α blockers and chemical reaction engineering for chlorine dioxide generation. Abstract The decomposition of sodium chlorite was studied in a well‐stirred reactor in a pH range of 2—3 and a temperature range of 15—35°C varying the chlorite concentration.
