About the Lab
Professor Hyungjun Kim's research lab specializes in biomedical and materials science applications of advanced technologies, focusing on deep learning for medical image analysis and survival prediction in oncology, diagnostic AI for dental imaging, antiviral immunity in aquaculture, dental biomaterials, and resistive switching in nanoscale oxide films. The lab integrates computational methods such as deep learning and micro-CT with experimental biology and materials engineering to address clinical challenges in cancer, oral diseases, fish virology, and next-generation electronic materials.
