About the Lab
Professor Jae Yoon Song's research lab focuses on advancing gynecological oncology through innovative diagnostic and surgical approaches. The lab investigates the application of artificial intelligence in improving colposcopic diagnosis of cervical lesions, explores the molecular and immunohistochemical characteristics of aggressive endometrial cancers such as clear cell carcinoma, and examines surgical proficiency and learning curves in minimally invasive gynecologic oncology. The lab also conducts proteomic studies to identify biomarkers like osteopontin associated with cervical carcinogenesis and progression.
