Professor Jae-Hwan Lee's research lab specializes in biomedical engineering and advanced materials, with a focus on developing implantable and biodegradable devices for targeted medical applications. The lab investigates innovative drug delivery systems, particularly ocular implants with micro-/nanochannel architectures, and designs ultra-sensitive, biodegradable strain sensors for real-time monitoring of physiological microdeformations in cardiovascular and muscular systems. A key emphasis is on translating novel materials—such as PDMS and molybdenum disulfide—into clinically relevant, biocompatible, and biodegradable solutions for disease diagnosis and treatment.

A typical enhancement of HCCs on MDCT was not unusual (43.6%) and WD and PD HCCs account for most of the atypical enhancement patterns. Early washout favoured MD and PD HCCs rather than WD HCCs, whereas in our study the presence of intratumoral aneurysm was a highly specific finding for PD HCC.

Exact partition function zeros of a polymer on a simple cubic lattice
