About the Lab

Professor Jihye Park's research lab focuses on the complex interplay between the gut microbiota, chronic inflammatory diseases, and gastrointestinal malignancies, with a particular emphasis on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and colorectal cancer (CRC). The lab investigates microbial dysbiosis, host-microbe interactions, and the role of microbial extracellular vesicles in disease pathogenesis, aiming to uncover novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets.
