About the Lab
Professor Jiseon Ahn's research lab specializes in consumer behavior and brand management within the tourism and hospitality industries, with a strong focus on experiential marketing, sustainable practices, and psychological drivers of customer loyalty. The lab investigates how brand experiences—particularly sensory, affective, behavioral, and intellectual dimensions—shape perceived value, well-being, and long-term patronage intentions in contexts such as green hotels, integrated resorts, and cruise services. Using advanced quantitative methods like PLS-SEM, the lab explores the mediating roles of emotions, perceived value, trust, and psychological needs satisfaction in shaping customer attitudes and behaviors. The research also emphasizes the strategic importance of corporate social responsibility, emotional engagement, and personalized experiences in enhancing customer loyalty and well-being.
