본 연구에서는 수입되는 발효유 starter를 대체하기 위해 전통발효식품으로부터 유산균을 분리 및 동정하여 이를 이용한 유산균주의 발효유 적합성 및 probiotics로서의 가능성을 확인하기 위한 기초자료로 사용하고자 실시하였다. 전통발효식품 배추김치, 젓갈 및 장류에서 분리해 낸 유산균주는 11종이며, 이 중 내산성 및 내담즙성이 우수한 L. plantarum A, Leu. lactis B 및 L. acidophilus C를 선택하여 항균활성 및 발효유제조 적용연구를 실시하였다. 3종의 균종에 대한 항균활성은 병원성 미생물인 Li. monocytogenes NCTC 11994에 대해서 높은 항균활성을 보였다. 항균활성이 있는 3종의 유산균주를 사용하여 발효유를 제조한 결과 대조구인 ABT 5보다는 미생물학적 및 이화학적 변화가 유의적으로 차이는 났으나 관능검사 결과 색, 향기, 조직감, 맛 및 전체적인 기호도가 대조구 대비 80% 이상으로 단독 균주임을 감안하면 우수한 관능적 특성

본 연구는 공사조건이 유사한 특정지역의 골프장 건설공사에 대해 실적공사자료를 공사규모와 시간을 고려하여 공사비를 예측하는 식을 토대로 초기계획단계에서 골프장건설 공사비를 예측하기 위한 기초자료를 제시하였다. 즉, 골프장 건설공사를 하는데 실제 투입된 실적공사자료들을 비교.분석하고 건설공사비지수를 고려하여 골프장 건설공사의 초기계획단계에서 건설공사비를 추정할 수 있는 공사비 예측식을 제안하였다. 연구의 결과, 8개의 골프장자료를 이용하여 회귀분석으로 골프장 공사비예측을 위한 비용-규모 지수 n을 구한 결과, 총공사비 0.72, 순공사비 0.67로 도출되었다. 합성항산화제의 독성과 부작용으로 인한 천연물유래 항산화제에 대한 관심과 연구개발이 활발한 가운데 추출물 단계에서 ORAC assay를 통하여 우수한 항산화 활성을 가지는 쉬땅나무(Sorbaria sorbfolia var. stellipila Max.) 열매의 생물학적 생리활성 성분을 분리, 동정하기 위하여 국내에 자생하는 쉬땅나무의 열매를 채집하여 80% MeOH로 추출한 후 일반적인 용매분획법에 의해 분획한 분획물과 추출물을 대상으로 ORAC assay를 실시한 결과 80% MeOH추출물과 EtOAc, n-BuOH분획에서 천연항산화제인 trolox보다 우수한 활성이 나타났으며, 이중 가장 우수한 활성을 나타낸 EtOAc 분획물로 부터 각종 chromatography 기법을 통하여 분리, 정제한 결과 flavonoid계열의 화합물인 catechin을 단리 하였다. 단리 되어진 catechin은 쉬땅나무의 열매에서는 처음으로 본 연구에서 보고되는 성분으로 ORAC assay에서 대조군
