About the Lab
Professor Jong-Sung Lee's research lab specializes in dermatological and cosmetic biotechnology, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of natural compounds in skin health, aging, and inflammation. The lab investigates bioactive phytochemicals—such as ginsenosides, magnolol, honokiol, asiaticoside, rosmarinic acid, and flavonoids—through in vitro and ex vivo models to elucidate their anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects.
