Professor Jong Wook Choi's research lab focuses on the intersection of metabolic and cardiovascular health, with a strong emphasis on epidemiological and genetic studies in the Korean population. Key research directions include the role of serum albumin and dietary sodium in hypertension and chronic kidney disease, the genetic underpinnings of prediabetes and microvascular complications, and the impact of lifestyle factors on bone mineral density and renal outcomes. The scale on the surface of hot rolled steel is removed by high pressure hydraulic descaling in a rolling mill. If the impact pressure of the water jet is higher, the scale is removed well.
