About the Lab
Professor Ju Hong Min's research lab specializes in neuroimmunology and neurodegenerative diseases, with a primary focus on neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and related conditions. The lab investigates the clinical, radiological, and immunological features of NMOSD, particularly in late-onset and atypical presentations, while also exploring biomarkers, disease progression, and patient-reported outcomes such as fatigue and quality of life. 15We report the case of a patient who developed extensive brain lesions during fingolimod (FTY720) treatment in the TRANSFORMS study.
