Professor Jun-Young Song's research lab focuses on infectious diseases, particularly bacterial pathogenesis and antimicrobial resistance, with a strong emphasis on *Streptococcus pneumoniae* and multidrug-resistant pathogens like *Acinetobacter baumannii*. Kikuchi's disease took a self-limiting clinical course in most cases, but the recurrence rate found in the present study was higher than that of previous reports.
