Professor Kun Ha Kim's research lab specializes in cerebrovascular and neurological disorders, with a focus on advanced neuroimaging techniques to improve the diagnosis and understanding of cerebrovascular diseases such as moyamoya disease (MMD) and intracranial atherosclerotic disease (ICAD). The lab investigates vascular pathology using high-resolution vessel wall imaging, diffusion-weighted MRI, and perfusion imaging to assess collateral circulation and predict treatment outcomes in acute stroke.
