Professor Kyung-Hwan Jeong's research lab specializes in nephrology and translational kidney research, focusing on the molecular mechanisms underlying acute and chronic kidney diseases. The lab investigates key pathways involved in renal injury, including inflammasome activation (e.g., NLRP3), metabolic and inflammatory biomarkers (e.g., PCSK9, Gd-IgA1), and the renoprotective effects of novel therapeutics such as DPP-IV inhibitors.
