About the Lab
Professor Kyung Sook Kim's research lab focuses on improving nursing practice and healthcare outcomes through innovative educational strategies, psychological well-being, and leadership development in nursing. Her work spans the application of emerging technologies like augmented reality in nursing education, the impact of leadership and psychological capital on nurses' career satisfaction, and the promotion of mental health and sleep health among shift-working nurses. The lab also investigates psychosocial factors such as sense of coherence and their influence on occupational stress and quality of life in healthcare professionals.

15The 10-year survival rate of TAO was about 65%. Even though the age-standardized prevalence rate and incidence rate of TAO is decreased during the study period, the adjusted hazard ratio showed significantly increases with age and with male sex after adjustment for comorbidities.
BACKGROUND: In the wake of challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic to conventional medical education, the demand for innovative teaching methods has surged. Nurse training, with its focus on hands-on practice and self-directed learning, encountered significant hurdles with conventional approaches. Augmented reality (AR) offers a potential solution to addressing this issue. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to develop, introduce, and evaluate an AR-based educational program designed for nu

<title>Abstract</title> Background The introduction of new technologies is transforming traditional educational approaches into ones that incorporate new technologies. The use of technology enhances learning by making it enjoyable and engaging, and this applies to all fields, including nursing education. While the potential of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies for remote clinical skills training has been recognized, research integrating AR into nursing education progra
(Shift Work Nurses’ Health and Turnover, SWNHT)
