SJR Q1Small

Abstract A simple, low‐cost, large area, and continuous scalable coating method is proposed for the fabrication of hybrid organic–inorganic perovskite solar cells. A megasonic spray‐coating method utilizing a 1.7 MHz megasonic nebulizer that could fabricate reproducible large‐area planar efficient perovskite films is developed. The coating method fabricates uniform large‐area perovskite film with large‐sized grain since smaller and narrower sized mist droplets than those generated by existing ul

Direct Field Effect of Neighboring Cell Transistor on Cell-to-Cell Interference of nand Flash Cell Arrays

SJR Q1IEEE Electron Device Letters

We introduce the concept of the direct field effect of a neighboring cell transistor on the cell-to-cell interference of NAND Flash cell memory. As the cell size reduces to below 50 nm, the electric field of the adjacent cell transistor directly influences the shallow-trench isolation corner of a selected cell transistor, provoking a significant cell V <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/Math

BACKGROUND: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of dementia, and is characterized by amyloid-β (Aβ) plaques and tauopathy. Reducing Aβ has been considered a major AD treatment strategy in pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches. Impairment of gamma oscillations, which play an important role in perception and cognitive function, has been shown in mouse AD models and human patients. Recently, the therapeutic effect of gamma entrainment in AD mouse models has been reported.

Compensation of phase change on reflection in white-light interferometry for step height measurement
Min-Cheol Park, Seung‐Woo Kim
SJR Q1Optics Letters

We present a method for compensating for the phase change on reflection in scanning white-light inteferometry that practically permits precise three-dimensional profile mapping of composite target surfaces that comprise multiple, dissimilar materials. The compensation method estimates the variation of phase change with the spectral distribution of the light source through a first-order approximation and then directly compensates for the measurement errors by performing two additional quasi-monoc

INTRODUCTION: Several studies have found that obesity is associated with atopic dermatitis (AD); however, the mechanisms underlying the association are largely unknown. This study aims to assess the association of AD with obesity in the Korean population and verify its mechanism via a multi-omics analysis. METHODS AND ANALYSIS: A case-control study will be conducted in the Republic of Korea. A total of 80 subjects, aged 4 to 12 years, matched for age and sex, with body mass index at or above the

Optimization of a Wavy Microchannel Heat Sink with Grooves
Min-Cheol Park, Sang-Bum Ma, Kwang‐Yong Kim
SJR Q2ProcessesOA

In this study, a wavy microchannel heat sink with grooves using water as the working fluid is proposed for application to cooling microprocessors. The geometry of the heat sink was optimized to improve heat transfer and pressure loss simultaneously. To achieve optimization goals, the average friction factor and thermal resistance were used as the objective functions. Three dimensionless parameters were selected as design variables: the distance between staggered grooves, groove width, and groove

The Effect of Field Oxide Recess on Cell V_ TH Distribution of nand Flash Cell Arrays
Min-Cheol Park, Chang-Sub Lee, Sung‐Hoi Hur, Keonsoo Kim, Won-Seong Lee
SJR Q1IEEE Electron Device Letters

We present our study on the effect of field oxide recess on cell-programming-speed uniformity of nand flash cell memory. Due to the short distance between the control gate and the shallow-trench-isolation (STI) edge, the control-gate voltage generates uniform distribution of an electric field on the STI edge and provides strong immunity to fabrication process variation in cell programming. Therefore, the optimized field oxide recess offers an inherently narrower cell <i xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.

Human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (hGMCSF) is crucial in the immune system as it stimulates survival, proliferation, differentiation, and functional activation of myeloid hematopoietic cells. hGMCSF is integral to approved therapies, including monoclonal antibodies against checkpoint inhibitors, chimeric antigen receptors, and prevention of chemotherapy-induced neutropenia. Recombinant hGMCSF can be purified from Escherichia. coli; however, it forms inclusion bodies t

SJR Q2Applied SciencesOA

When diagnosing damage to high-rise buildings during earthquakes, it is necessary to measure the displacement of each story. However, with respect to accuracy and cost, it is most reasonable to convert acceleration into displacement. In this study, shake table testing was carried out to verify the conversion methods, converting the acceleration data measured in a high-rise building into velocity and displacement. In the shaking table test, the displacement of a 10-story model building under stro

The results of a literature study about the comparison of Oriental-Occidental medicine on the Atopic dennatitis were as follows. 1. In Oriental medicine, Atopic dermatitis belongs to the category of the Naesun(내선), Taeryumchang(胎斂瘡), Eczema(濕疹), Chimumchang(浸淫瘡). In Occidental medicine, the other names of Atopic dermatitis are allergic eczema, IgE dermatitis, flexual eczema etc. 2. In Oriental medicine, the definition of atopic dermatitis includes chang(瘡), sun(선), and pung(風). Occidental medici
