About the Lab

Professor Mi-young Han's research lab focuses on molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neuronal differentiation, signal transduction in cancer cells, and the structural and functional characterization of metalloproteins and enzymes involved in essential metabolic pathways. The lab investigates transcriptional regulation of synaptic proteins like dynamin I, adaptor protein interactions in Ras signaling, and the cloning and characterization of genes involved in leucine biosynthesis. Additionally, the lab explores the biochemical basis of human developmental disorders such as Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser Syndrome, with translational research on fertility preservation and reproductive medicine.
