About the Lab
Professor Sang Min Lee's research lab specializes in advanced materials for next-generation energy storage and microelectronic packaging. The lab focuses on developing high-performance anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, particularly silicon suboxides (SiOx), and innovative solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries using novel solution-processing techniques. Key research directions include optimizing material synthesis through controlled crystallinity, interfacial engineering, and low-temperature bonding technologies for 3D integrated devices. The lab also applies complex network analysis to understand dynamic systems, such as football player transfer markets, demonstrating interdisciplinary applications of systems science.
