Professor Sang-Woon Cho's research lab specializes in clinical proteomics and systems biology, focusing on the molecular characterization of human plasma and its application in biomarker discovery. The lab develops advanced proteomic technologies, including high-abundance protein depletion and multidimensional separation techniques, to overcome challenges in detecting low-abundance disease-related proteins. It also engages in biobank-based research and integrated database development for proteomic data management, particularly in hepatocellular carcinoma and metabolic disorders.
