About the Lab
Professor Sangil Min's research lab specializes in clinical pharmacology and translational medicine with a focus on optimizing immunosuppressive therapy in kidney transplantation. The lab investigates pharmacogenomics, particularly CYP3A5 polymorphisms, to personalize tacrolimus dosing and improve graft outcomes. It also explores medication adherence, intrapatient variability of drug levels, and vascularization strategies in tissue engineering to enhance long-term allograft survival and function. Additionally, the lab contributes to improving vascular access for hemodialysis and advancing deceased organ donation systems in Korea.
