Professor Seongbeom Cho's research lab specializes in foodborne pathogen surveillance, molecular epidemiology, and antimicrobial resistance, with a focus on zoonotic bacteria such as *Salmonella Enteritidis*, *Campylobacter jejuni*, and *Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli*. The lab employs advanced molecular typing methods like MLVA and VNTR analysis to trace microbial sources and understand genetic diversity in food-producing animals and clinical isolates.
