About the Lab
Professor Seul Gi Lee's research lab focuses on advancing healthcare through innovative nursing education and oncology research. The lab investigates the impact of technology-enhanced learning, such as smartphone video feedback, on nursing students' clinical competence and confidence, aiming to improve patient safety and care quality. In parallel, the lab explores molecular mechanisms in cancer progression, particularly the role of tumor microenvironment components like macrophages and cathepsin D in thyroid cancer and obesity-related pathways. The integration of clinical education research with translational biomedical studies defines the lab’s interdisciplinary approach.

Background and Objectives: We sought to investigate an anti-atherosclerotic and anti-inflammatory effect of sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors in normoglycemic atherosclerotic rabbit model. 지난 메르스 사태의 경험에 비추어 볼 때 감염병의 확산과 같은 위험 상황에서 정부의 투명한정보공개는 정부대응의 효과를 높이는 데 필수적이다. 이에 본 연구는 코로나19 위험 상황에서정부와 국민 간 이루어지는 리스크 커뮤니케이션이 정부신뢰에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 이 관계가 전자정부 역량에 의해 어떻게 변화하는지 분석한다. 이를 위하여 연세대학교 미래정부연구센터가 실시한 ‘2020년 초변화사회의 신뢰받는 미래정부 통계조사’ 자료를 활용하여 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 코로나19 관련 정보의 신뢰성과 정확성, 전달의 신속성으로구성된 리스크 커뮤니케이션은 정부신뢰에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 이 관계는 정보와 시스템, 서비스 역량으로 구성된 전자정부의 역량에 의해 강화되었다. 본 연구는 기존 리스크 커뮤니케이션과 정부신뢰의 논의에서 통로로서의 전자정부의 역할을 재확인하였으며, 코로나19라는 실제 재난 상황에서 수집한 국민의 인식을 기초로 실증하였다는 데 의의가 있다.
