Professor Seung Ho Jeong's research lab focuses on clinical and translational studies in critical care medicine and neuropsychiatry, with a strong emphasis on optimizing sedation strategies in intensive care units and understanding the neuropsychiatric aspects of neurodegenerative and psychotic disorders. The lab investigates ICU noise exposure and its impact on patient outcomes, explores hemodynamic monitoring techniques like carotid FTc for fluid responsiveness in mechanically ventilated patients, and examines the clinical and cognitive profiles of psychiatric and neurodegenerative conditions such as schizophrenia, OCD, and progressive supranuclear palsy.
