Professor Su-Woong Jeong's research lab focuses on the pathophysiology of kidney diseases, with a particular emphasis on diabetic kidney disease, post-transplant complications, and systemic autoimmune disorders affecting the kidneys. The lab investigates molecular mechanisms underlying kidney fibrosis, viral reactivation (such as BK virus), and immune-mediated kidney injury, integrating clinical data with experimental models to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
