About the Lab

Professor Sung-Yong Shin's research lab focuses on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, with a particular emphasis on atrial fibrillation, endothelial dysfunction, and the role of visceral adipose tissue—especially epicardial adipose tissue—in cardiac remodeling and arrhythmia.
