Professor Taegyun Kim's research lab focuses on biomaterials, regenerative medicine, and molecular mechanisms underlying aging and disease. The lab investigates the development of functional nanomaterials—such as electrospun nanofibers and silica nanoparticles—for biomedical applications, including enzyme immobilization and drug delivery. It also explores natural compounds and growth factors for antiviral and tissue-regenerative therapies, with a particular emphasis on skin aging, periodontal regeneration, and antiviral agents targeting hepatitis B virus.
