Professor Taejin Lee's research lab focuses on developing innovative nanoscale delivery systems and molecular therapeutics for cancer and metabolic diseases. 한국의료패널 1차년도 자료를 이용한 과부담의료비 분석

소득수준 향상 및 고가 의료기술의 도입에 따라 의료수요가 증가하고, 그 결과 우리나라의 의료비 지출은 현저한 증가 추세를 보이고 있다. 이러한 의료비 지출의 증가는 가구의 경제적 부담능력에 비해 많은 의료비를 지출하게 되는 “과부담” 문제를 야기하고 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 우리나라 의료비 지출에 대한 상세한 정보를 얻을 수 있는 한국의료패널 1차년도 자료를 이용하여, 우리나라 가구의 과부담의료비 발생 현황을 살펴보고, 가구의 사회경제적 지위에 따라 과부담의료비의 발생이 어떠한 분포를 보이는지를 확인하였다. 또한 한국의료패널의 장점을 살려, 가구원이 갖고 있는 만성질환의 종류에 따라 과부담의료비의 발생이 어떻게 다른지를 확인하고, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하여 가구의 과부담의료비 발생에 영향을 주는 요인을 찾아보았다. 분석 결과, 2008년 과부담의료비 발생률은 가구 생활비의 10%를 기준으로 할 경우 19.7%, 가구소득의 10%를 기준으로 할 경우 15.7%인 것으로 나타났으며
