Professor Won-ki Yoon's research lab specializes in cerebrovascular and neurovascular diseases, with a focus on the hemodynamics and biomechanics of intracranial aneurysms, endovascular interventions, and molecular biomarkers in brain tumors. The lab investigates the pathophysiology of subarachnoid hemorrhage, stent-assisted coiling, and vascular repair mechanisms using clinical, imaging, and computational approaches. It also explores novel molecular targets such as EDB-FN in malignant gliomas and metabolic dysregulation in diabetic models, integrating translational neuroscience with clinical interventional radiology and molecular oncology.
