Professor Won-Oh Lee's research lab specializes in translational biomedical research, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases, allergic disorders, and emerging infectious diseases. The lab investigates the pathophysiological mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and migraine, with an emphasis on biomarkers such as uric acid and cerebrospinal fluid markers, while also exploring the therapeutic potential of natural compounds like sulfated polysaccharides in skin protection and oxidative stress.
