Professor Woo-Keun Kwon's research lab specializes in spinal and cerebrovascular disorders, with a focus on the pathophysiology of degenerative disc disease and cerebral hemodynamic improvement following revascularization surgery. The lab investigates molecular mechanisms underlying intervertebral disc degeneration under hypoxic conditions and explores minimally invasive endoscopic spinal surgery techniques for lumbar stenosis.
