Professor Yongjin Kim's research lab focuses on advanced materials and biological systems at the intersection of biomedicine, nanotechnology, and spintronics. Key research directions include microRNA regulation in ovarian follicle development and oocyte maturation, sex steroid hormone signaling in muscle maintenance and sarcopenia, and the development of biocompatible heart valve prostheses using modified fixation techniques.
