About the Lab
Professor Young-beom Park's research lab specializes in biomaterials and regenerative medicine, focusing on the development of advanced nanomaterials for bone tissue engineering and therapeutic applications. Key research directions include the synthesis and functionalization of calcium sulfate and titanium dioxide nanotubes for controlled delivery of growth factors and antimicrobial agents, as well as injectable hydrogel systems for critical-sized bone defect repair. The lab also investigates the interplay between industrial and demographic transitions and their impact on labor migration and social policy in Korea, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach combining materials science with socio-economic analysis.
