Professor Young-eun Yoon's research lab focuses on urological oncology and renal protection, with a strong emphasis on improving outcomes in kidney cancer and kidney transplantation. The lab investigates novel therapeutic strategies such as remote ischemic preconditioning for renal ischemia-reperfusion injury, targeted therapies like sunitinib combined with natural compounds (e.g., ginsenoside) in clear cell renal cell carcinoma, and the identification of epigenetic targets such as EZH2 across renal cell carcinoma subtypes.
