About the Lab

Professor Yun-hyung Choi's research lab focuses on environmental and occupational health, with a primary emphasis on the impacts of environmental toxicants—particularly heavy metals and air pollutants—on human health. The lab investigates the associations between exposure to cadmium, lead, mercury, and other pollutants and health outcomes such as hearing loss, sarcopenia, and respiratory health, often integrating data from large-scale population surveys like NHANES.
