Professor Yun-Sung Lee's research lab focuses on regenerative biology and molecular mechanisms underlying tissue repair, with a strong emphasis on limb and fin regeneration in urodeles and zebrafish. The lab investigates positional memory, signaling gradients, and the role of key regulatory proteins such as Cobll1 and PACSIN2 in controlling regeneration and drug resistance in leukemia. Additionally, the lab explores natural anti-inflammatory compounds, such as those derived from *A. padiformis*, and their mechanisms via the NLRP3 inflammasome, as well as environmental toxicology using zebrafish models to study the impact of particulate matter on eye development.
