Professor Yun-Rak Choi's research lab focuses on regenerative medicine and orthopedic bioengineering, with a central emphasis on understanding the pathophysiology of joint diseases such as osteoarthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. The lab investigates the role of adipose tissue in joint degeneration, develops advanced stem cell-based therapies for cartilage repair, and designs precision surgical techniques and bioengineered implants for peripheral nerve and joint disorders.
