About the role

We are looking for translators to turn Korean manuscripts by researchers in Korea into English ready for international journals, and English manuscripts into the style of Korean journals. The work is not swapping words but carrying over the field's terminology and the structure of the argument.

What you will do

  • Translate academic manuscripts between Korean and English
  • Confirm field terminology and use it consistently within a manuscript
  • Leave comments for the author where the original is unclear
  • Review and refine AI first-draft translations

Who we are looking for

  • Able to write academic text in both Korean and English
  • A master's degree or higher in a related field, or experience in academic translation
  • Familiarity with the conventions of Korean journals and theses
  • Strict confidentiality about manuscripts

Why you will enjoy this work

  • Help research from Korea reach readers around the world
  • Start from an AI first draft and spend your time where judgment is needed
  • Work remotely, one manuscript at a time
